Thursday next, 2nd November – All Souls Day

Death of our bodies is the end of earthly life, but not of our existence, since the soul is immortal. Our prayer in November is one of freedom for the souls of the faithful departed and implores eternal life – not only for the disciples of Christ who have died in His grace, but for those whose faith is known to God alone.
