About our School

Our school is situated across from the famous Quin Friary and takes its name, in Irish, from this beautiful Franciscan Abbey which was founded in 1350, by the McNamara clan, for the Friars Minor of St. Francis.  Scoil na Mainistreach Quin Dangan is at the heart of a community steeped in culture, history and educational endeavour. We are very proud of these links to the wider community and we enjoy working with all our partners in the education process. We encourage members of the community to share their expertise with our students.
