Many thanks to the crew of great volunteers who tackled the flower beds on the Ennis Road on Monday evening last, taking full advantage of the extra hour of daylight. The stone edging looks marvellous.
Thanks also to the pupils of 4th/5th/6th classes of Quin/Dangan N.S. who competed in the Art Competition to raise awareness of preventing dog litter in our village, a problem that is now widespread in our county and beyond. Keep an eye out for their art work in some of the local businesses. Much appreciation goes to Crowe’s shop for donating the prizes. Due to Covid 19 we cannot gather for a big clean up on a particular day so we’re asking families/friends to do mini-clean-ups over the next week or so, always being mindful of social distancing of course. There are pickers and bags available in the Post Office. If you have an hour or two to spare during the week we would love to hear from you. Eugene Phillips 086 8127788 or Colette Colleran 087 6895489
