Retirement Mass

On Friday 28th Nov the community and parish of Clooney will gather in St John XXIII Church at 6pm for a Mass of Thanksgiving to mark the retirement of Mary Gleeson and Eibhlin Walsh from the teaching staff of Clooney National School. Both Mary and Eibhlin have given 67 years of service in our parish and it is an opportunity for the community to acknowledge both teachers and pray God’s blessing on their retirements. After Mass the community with the help of the school children will turn on the Christmas Lights in Clooney. Refreshments will be served in the school. All are welcome.
