Quin Heritage Day

Quin Heritage Day: Fun for all the family. On Saturday, August 16th, from 10.00am to 5pm in our local hall, Quin Heritage Group are hosting an exciting day of events for all the family. Vintage cars and machinery as well as a Blacksmith’s display will be outside. Indoors will be an artefacts table, old photos, a model train set, circus memorabilia, and much more. The village walk is 10.30am and at 11.30am, there’s a talk on Quin Friary. At 12.45 we host a ‘Down Memory Lane’ Session where parishioners we interviewed come together to share valuable memories of times past. In the afternoon, Ennis historian Martin Breen presents his findings on Castles and Tower houses in the area.
