Schools Out
As the school year drew to a close last week, we say thanks to the Teachers and school’s staff and all who serve on our Boards of Management in our two Catholic schools in the parish, for their dedicated hard work over the past year, in sharing their faith and their love with our children. It is not easy to be a dedicated Catholic teacher in today’s society, but our teachers have to be commended for all that they do to inspire our children and form them in the values of the Gospel, just like SS. Peter & Paul whose feast we celebrated this weekend.
We thank in a particular way Mary Gleeson, the Deputy Principal of Clooney School who retires this summer after 42 years teaching in Clooney. Mary, a past pupil of the school, has spent 50 years in the school as pupil and teacher. We wish Mary every blessing for the next stage of life’s journey and pray God’s blessing on her and her family.
