Milford Care Centre will be hosting its annual Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Castletroy, on Sunday May 12th 2024 at 3pm for those people who have died under our care in Milford Care Centre and across our community services. Next weekend the Annual collection for the Sacristans of Clooney and Maghera will take place and the appeal in St Mary’s Church is to help with the cleaning of the Church. Our thanks to our Sacristans and all who help care and keep our three Churches clean and tidy.

May the Month of Mary: On Wednesday we celebrate the feast of St Joseph the Worker. May is the month of Mary – an opportunity for a May Altar in your home or classroom and also an opportunity to pray the Rosary.
Congratulations: We congratulate the boys and girls of Clooney School who received their First Holy Communion on Saturday in St John XXIII Church, Clooney. Our thanks to their teacher, school and all who helped prepare them for this sacrament. Sacrament of Marriage: Couples who wish to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage are reminded that they need to: 1) Meet one of the priests in the pastoral area to complete the pre-nuptial enquiry form. 2) Complete a premarriage course – details at accord.ie. 3) Notify the civil registrar at least three months before the wedding date.
