“If there is anyone that would be interested in donating a sacred vessel, such as a chalice or ciborium, in memory of a loved one or special event, the Quin/Clooney branch of the Apostolic Work can facilitate this. It will then be sent out to the missions where your loved one will be prayed for everyday. If you are interested
Adoration: Eucharistic Adoration currently takes place every Thursday in Quin Church from 9.30am to 5pm. Over the past year we have lost the services of a number of our volunteers for a variety of reasons. To continue this very important vigil we require new volunteers. If you can spare one hour of your time every Thursday to pray, meditate, or to enjoy some peace and quiet in the presence of Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration, please contact George at 086- 8355910. You may also leave your name and number into the sacristy.

Some facts and statistics which make stark reading and give us a sense of the extent of the changes that are needed:
• Six parishes in the diocese (Killaloe) currently have no resident priest;
• An additional 12 parishes would have no priest if it wasn’t for the generosity of service of many working beyond the age of 75;
Our parish has started a Bereavement Support Group. It is hoped to be able to offer parishioners who are bereaved our condolences and support, on behalf of the parish. If you wish to join the group, please call 086 3130656.
