First Friday

First Friday: Friday next the 6th Dec is the First Friday of the month. The sick & housebound have been visited and will be visited again for Christmas during the week of the 16th Dec. If you know of someone who would like a visit and receive the Sacrament of the Sick and Holy Eucharist, please contact the parish Office or Fr. Tom with contact details

Priests’ Christmas Collection

Priests’ Christmas Collection: The Christmas Collection for the Priests’ of the Diocese will be taken up next weekend Dec 7th/8th in all our Churches. This special (Yellow) envelope is in your box of envelopes. If you are not in receipt of the box of envelopes and would like to contribute to this collection, there are extra envelopes in the Church porches. Thank you in advance for your continued generosity to the Priests’ of the Diocese.

Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Immaculate Conception : The feast of the Immaculate Conception, this year falls on Sunday 8th Dec. It is therefore moved to Monday 9th Dec. and is not a Holy Day of Obligation. There will be, however, two Masses in the Parish this day. Monday Dec 9th at 11am in Quin Church and the Liturgy will be lead by Quin/Dangan School. The Second Mass will be at 2:15pm in Clooney School, where the children will lead the Liturgy there. All are welcome to attend.

Christmas Party

Scoil Na Mainistreach PA are holding their annual children’s Christmas party on Sunday 1st December from 2pm to 5pm in Quin Community Centre with face painters, DJ and Santa! Admission €5 per child, €15 per family.

Christmas Light Up a Memory

Will take place in Milford Care Centre on Sunday 8th of December 2019 at 6pm.  The illumination of the Christmas tree will take place and candles will be left lighting until Sunday 5th January 2020 at 6pm where a special Mass will be celebrated for all those remembered on the Light up a Memory tree.

Clooney Church Car Park

Over 46 six new parking spaces have been created since the upgrade works to the car park and surrounds to St. John XXIII Church in Clooney. The Parish Council asks that due to health and safety reasons that people not park on the road side and to please avail of the extra parking spaces that have now become available. Thank

November House Masses

Sincere thanks to the three Families who hosted this years House Masses for the Holy Souls during the Month of November. It is a good way “to take time out to meet and  pray with family, friends and neighbours” as one family said.  Mile Buíochas!
