Season of Creation
This season is celebrated each year from 1st September to the feast of St Francis of Assisi 4th October. This year the theme chosen is “Seeds of peace and Hope”.
Two New Saints
On Sunday next 7th September Pope Leo will canonise Blessed Carlo Acutis and Blessed Pio Giorgio Frassati at a ceremony in Rome. Though they lived a Century apart, their joint Canonisation highlights the universal call to holiness. With Carlo recognized for his use of technology to help spread the faith and Frassati for his devoted service of the poor.

Friary Roof Appeal
