Lourdes Pilgrimage

The Diocese is arranging to bring 24 assisted pilgrims to Lourdes on Friday 21st June until Wednesday 26th June on the Diocesan Pilgrimage. The assisted will be cared for by a medical and caring team from the Diocese. For more information on this section please contact Fr Tom on 087 2349816

Trocaire Lenten Campaign

This year Trocaire’s Lenten campaign focuses on the country of Malawi, Africa.  Malawi is one of the least developed countries in the world and has been badly affected by climate change. In the Machinga district, Marita and her family must make a one hour trip up to five times a day to collect water.

Confirmation

This year the Sacrament will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church Quin on Friday 8th March at 11am and in St John XXIII Church on Saturday 9th March at 11am. Please keep the children preparing for the sacraments in your prayers.

First Confession

This Sacrament will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church Quin on Tuesday 5th March at 7pm for the children from Scoil na Mainistreach Quin Dangan. And on Wednesday 6th March at 12noon in St. John XXIII church for the children from Clooney School

Priests Spring Collection

The first of only four appeals in the year ,for the support of the priests from the Pastoral Area who serve the parish ,will be held at all Masses next weekend. Envelopes are available for this appeal and your generosity in supporting your priests is very much appreciated.
