Buíochas

Buíochas: On this Easter day we gather to celebrate Resurrection. He is Risen Alleluia. As we do so, we pause to look back at the sacred journey of Holy Week that has brought us now to the glory of resurrection. Starting with the Blessing of Palm last Sunday, our thanks to those who supplied the palm, to the beautiful ceremony of Reconciliation on Monday evening to the quiet reflection of the Chrism Mass, to the powerful humidity of the washing of the feet on Holy Thursday in Clooney, to the Solemn Veneration of the Cross in Quin on Good Friday, to the gathering for the Easter Vigil this Holy Saturday Night, every ceremony was a testament to our living faith. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and commitment of so many parishioners. This Easter Day we thank you, to all involved in our Liturgies, Choirs, Musicians, Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Sacristans, Altar Servers, Flower and Sacred Space Arrangers, Mary in the Parish Office and all who prepare this newsletter each week. To the people behind the scenes who climb ladders, wash linen, iron altar cloths and banners, polish sacred vessels and clean our churches and grounds. Because of your efforts, we can all enter into Easter Joy and sing Alleluia.
