Sunday of the Word of God

Sunday of the Word of God: The Third Sunday of the Liturgical year is now known as the Sunday of The Word of God. This year the theme comes from St Paul’s letter to the Colossians 3:16 “The Word of Christ dwells among you”. We are invited to reflect on how the Word of God can open up for us the treasure of the Scriptures and enable us to proclaim the gospel in our lives. The Word of God Sunday is an ideal time to acquire a bible for your home. The only way we will get to know the Word of God is to read God’s Word.
